Who We Are

John Lodge Farmer’s career reflects a lifelong commitment to education, thoughtful guidance, and helping others navigate important life decisions.

A native of Shreveport, Louisiana, John moved to Prescott, Arizona in 1987 to pursue his education. He earned his undergraduate degree in Education in 1992 and later completed a Master of Arts in Education. For nearly two decades, he dedicated himself to teaching, developing a deep appreciation for clear communication, critical thinking, and the lasting impact of informed decision-making.

In 2007, John transitioned into financial services, bringing his educator’s mindset into the world of wealth management. His approach remains grounded in education, clarity, and empowering clients to understand not just what they are doing financially, but why they are doing it. He holds Series 7 and Series 66 licenses (held through LPL), an Arizona Life, Accident, and Health license, and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation. 

Today, John serves clients across the United States, focusing on wealth preservation, retirement planning, and philanthropic strategies. His work centers on helping families align financial decisions with long-term goals, values, and legacy considerations.

John continues his connection to education as an instructor at Yavapai College, where he teaches finance courses in Prescott, Arizona. He is also actively engaged in the community, serving on the board of directors for the Arizona Community Foundation of Yavapai County and the Natural History Institute. His prior leadership roles include service with the Central Arizona Land Trust, and he was a founding member of the Granite Dells Preservation Foundation.

John’s diverse professional background — spanning education, financial planning, and community leadership — informs a steady, practical perspective that clients value. His work is defined by clarity, discipline, and a deep respect for the responsibility inherent in managing wealth and planning for the future.

Monelle Hanson is a California native and longtime Arizona resident with more than two decades of professional experience in the Title industry. Her extensive background has provided a strong foundation in real estate processes, transaction coordination, and delivering a consistently high standard of client service.

Known for her exceptional organization, precision, and attention to detail, Monelle plays an essential role in creating a seamless experience for clients. Her thoughtful, proactive approach ensures that every request and interaction is handled with care, efficiency, and accuracy.

Outside of her professional work, Monelle has a natural passion for design and aesthetics. She enjoys home remodeling and interior decoration, often incorporating distinctive antique pieces that add character and individuality to her projects.

Monelle embraces an active Arizona lifestyle and enjoys spending time outdoors, particularly hiking the scenic trails of Prescott and surrounding areas, as well as swimming. Her appreciation for balance, wellness, and the natural beauty of Arizona reflects the same steady, grounded approach she brings to her work.
